Automateeq ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use automateeq.com, how we use it, and what choices you have.
01.Information We Collect
- When you create an account we collect your email address and, optionally, your full name.
- We log the prompts you send and the screens we generate on your behalf so we can improve quality and investigate support issues.
- Standard server logs capture your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and analytics.
- If you subscribe to a paid plan we process payments through Polar. We never see or store your full card number.
02.How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Automateeq service.
- To send transactional emails such as receipts, password resets, and usage alerts.
- To detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve our AI model — we never sell individual data.
03.Data Retention
- Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- If you delete your account we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
04.Sharing and Disclosure
- We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
- We share data only with sub-processors necessary to operate the service (e.g. Supabase for database hosting, Polar for payments, Sentry for error monitoring).
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Automateeq or its users.
05.Cookies and Tracking
- We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and authentication.
- We do not use advertising trackers or sell behavioural data to ad networks.
- Analytics are collected in aggregate only.
06.Your Rights
- You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time.
- You may request correction or deletion of your data by emailing hello@automateeq.com
- If you are in the EEA or UK you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
07.Security
- All data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure provider.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel and protected by MFA.
- We conduct periodic security reviews and address vulnerabilities promptly.
08.Changes to This Policy
- We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the site.
- Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
